Alec Lightwood is not one of my favorite characters, although he certainly grows on you as portrayed through Magnus’s eyes.

He also happens to be in love with a Shadowhunter. The High Warlock of Brooklyn, he has style. Magnus Bane is one of my favorite characters from the Shadowhunter books. The Mortal War is over and Magnus and Alec are trying to get to know each other on a romantic vacation in Europe.
